I am Dan Swenson, a data nerd who is also a Minnesota workers' compensation attorney and a city council member. The rights described here come from the FTC Funeral Rule, 16 CFR Part 453, a federal regulation that applies to funeral providers nationwide. Citations are included so anything on this site can be verified against the rule text.
